Hello I’m Ayanna Dye and without further ado I PRESENT TO YOU----
The world and its ART
(INTRO TO ART)
I believe that art is a major part of our lives. I would like to show everyone willing to know, just how important it is. With everything we see touch and use there is art. Art, of course is made by artists. Many people don’t know this because there are many different forms of art and different kinds of artists. For example your furniture is mad by a type of artist called a carpenter, and your gourmet meals are made by culinary artists.
THE ART WE KNOW OF
Everyday art!
Some primary examples of everyday art are:
1) Flowers
2) Food
3) Cell phones
4) Dishes (we eat out of)
5) Your zippers
6) M&M candies
7) Barcodes
~*~*THERE IS ART EVERYWHERE!!!!*~*~there is so much that art and artist can teach you. What I want to tell everybody is APRECIEATE YOUR ART!

Why we need artists
Art is something that everyone needs. Some people may think that we don’t need art. However, there are many reasons why I feel this is not true. Without art the world would be gray. There would be nothing to look at, nothing to hear, and nowhere to go.
The people who believe that we don’t need art are the same ones who always stereotype the subject. They think that art is slapping paint on paper or drawing lines on a wall, a square and a circle of different colors. What they do not know is that it is much more than that. In the world there is a wide range of things that fall under the category of art. These “things” range from music to sciences and back again.
The most important thing when it comes to art is of course who makes it! People who create art are called artists. They all have different styles, Tastes, interests and different mediums. Some artists focus on one strong point while others do everything.
Artists of course, have major stereotypes. Many think you have to be demented and (a) drunk to be an artist. THAT IS NOT TRUE! Artists vary and I think its time the media started showing the artists that make are world beautiful.

MY INFO-PEPS
There are many others who have addressed the same issue as I have today. ART IN EVERYDAY LIFE, an Essay by Marvin Bartel tells a lot. It says that there is art in our surroundings that we should take time to notice. I agree fully. When reading the article I found out a powerful word- Aesthetics, witch means sensitive to art and beauty. I read on to find out some things that I hadn’t even thought of. The article also says that art can be used to teach values. I know there is much more for me to find so this will be updated!
My sources
1) Applying labels: artist discuss their work, Kristen Rhodes
2) Art Instruction, Daniel Lombardo
3) Modernism, Postmodernism, or Neither? A Fresh Look at “Fine Art’
4) ART IN EVERYDAY LIFE, Marvin Bartel
Unfortunately this is all I have so far……
BUT DON’T WORRY!!!!!!
THERES MUCH MORE ON THE WAY!
(Please give me your opinions on my topic!)
